Javan Rhino-
- These rhinos are now endemic to this hotspot as they have been hunted to extinction elsewhere. They are brown-grayish in color with pink flecks and a small horn, they have a scale looking pattern that gives them an armored look. They use their teeth for fighting and their lips to grab onto food. They have a good sense of smell and hearing but very poor eyesight. The rhinos tend to be solitary and only socialize during mating times, where the pregnancy is from 16-19 months long. They are considered critically endangered due to poaching and habitat destruction, the existing species is too small for long term life of the species.

Sumatran Tiger-
- Endemic to Sumatran as the name suggest, this species is the smallest and darkest subspecies of tiger with a range size estimated at 52 km2 for a male and 27 km2 for the female. Male tigers are on average 120kg and 8ft from head to tail and females are on average 91kg and 7ft length. Cubs aren't able to hunt on their own until they are around 18 months old and have developed canine teeth and have learned hunting behaviors from wrestling with siblings and watching their mothers hunt. However once they are of age they can take down anything from a small mammal or fish to any prey unto 4x their own size. This species is considered critically endangered mostly due to habitat loss and trophy hunting/poaching.
